February 2016 CSC Meet
Author: Otter
INTRODUCTION OF FIRST TIME GUESTS / NEW MEMBERS
Chris @CruisinAz attended his first meeting. We won't hold it against him that he didn't bring his 1984 FJ60, originally purchased by his grandmother. It's in the shop at Camelback Toyota.
ROTM
ROTM series is for everyone to get out with their trucks, regardless of skill level, so everyone can learn how to wheel safely. No one wants to see someone damage their truck.
January ROTM was led by Ron @Dimples to Fossil Creek - January ROTM Fossil Creek 1/30/16
February ROTM - Jason @jclarke450 is leading a run to Box Canyon on Sat. Feb 27th. For additional details - February ROTM 2/27/16 Most Likely Box Canyon
March ROTM - Kirk @Chaos55 is leading a run to Sheep's Bridge for an overnight, if you're interested in camping, on March 19th - March ROTM
April ROTM - Richard @Otter This is definitely going to be an overnight trip.
May ROTM - We need volunteers for May ROTM
June ROTM - Eric @Pitch
July ROTM - Jason @jclarke450 discussed camping on the North Rim for a possible multi-day trip. North Rim/Jacob Lake July Trip
Keep an eye on the forum for dates and threads for these runs. Summer months are perfect time to head north and get some altitude for cooler weather.
DEATH VALLEY TRIP OVERVIEW
The Death Valley Group had an awesome trip with lots of excitement. Several motorists were rescued by club members. Field repairs were made on a Subaru WRX with a broken strut, two stranded ladies were assisted with their flat tire at Ubehebe Crater, and a family was attempting to four wheel in Lexus sedan on Lippincott trail before we convinced them to turn around.

CSC GOALS FOR 2016
We want a ROTM for every month this year.
The Rubbish Bin thread has been started. If you go out on a run, help out with Leave No Trace by picking up trash and posting pics of your collections here.
ONE TIME MEETING LOCATION CHANGE
We'd like to move the meeting location one month to a more Northern or Western location for an upcoming meeting. Tempe isn't convenient for all club members, and we hope this will get members to attend that haven't been able to make it to a meeting yet.
NOTE: This would not be a permanent change. This would be for one meeting.
If you have any ideas of a good spot in one of these areas, post it up here - Alternative Meeting locations
TRUCK WRENCHING DAY
There was discussion regarding getting together with club members who needed assistance with work on their trucks. Based on interest, we might schedule something like this once we determine a good location and time. For Example: you just rolled your truck and you need help moving parts from your old truck to your new truck. (Not talking about anyone in particular)
ATTENDANCE
200s - 1
100s - 2
80s - 8 (FJ80s - 2, FZJ80s - 6)
60s - 1
4runner - 1
