May 2016 CSC Meet

INTRODUCTION OF FIRST TIME GUESTS / NEW MEMBERS
Dave @Fuge (1st meeting and new member) brought his '99 Lexus LX470.
Matt @boofaz (1st meeting and new member) brought his 2000 100 series. He made it to May's ROTM on Mt. Ord!
Apollo came to his 1st meeting (sorry, didn't get a mud name) and brought his Chevy Silverado, which we're not going to hold against him.
CJ @Chrismanjs came to his 1st meeting (he's been on a couple ROTMs already) brought his Bumblebee FJ Cruiser.
ROTM
Run Of The Month series is for everyone to get out with their trucks, regardless of skill level, so everyone can learn how to wheel safely. No one wants to see someone damage their truck.
May ROTM - Pete @verruckt1 led a trip to Mt Ord on May 14 & 15. Check the thread here - May ROTM 2016 - Mount Ord. They had a good turnout, with camping, and a tour of the fire tower.
June ROTM - Eric @Pitch is leading a trip to Verde Valley. Keep an eye on the thread for details - June ROTM - Verde Valley Traverse.
July ROTM - Jason @jclarke450 discussed camping on the North Rim for a possible multi-day trip. North Rim/Jacob Lake July Trip.
August ROTM - Adam @floggerdogger stepped up and volunteered to lead a trip. Stay tuned for details.
September ROTM - Alvis @Cruddz.
Keep an eye on the forum for dates and threads for these runs. Summer months are perfect time to head north and get some altitude for cooler weather.

We want a ROTM for every month this year.
The Rubbish Bin thread has been started. If you go out on a run, help out with Leave No Trace by picking up trash and posting pics of your collections here.
ALTERNATIVE WEST-SIDE MEETING LOCATION
Ron @Dimples has reserved a ramada for the June meeting at Rio Vista Park on the westside. The ramada is reserved from 5 to 9pm with a beer permit. Keep an eye on the thread for details Alternative meeting location.
